SUPER73 is seeking a passionate Vehicle Designer to join the design team in Irvine. You will contribute to concept development, production design, and visualization—from sketches to CAD development and final production.

The ideal candidate has a strong eye for form, proportion, and detail, with a deep passion for bikes and automotive culture. Hybrid work in Irvine and collaboration across design, engineering, and marketing are core to this role.

• Support vendor communication and external partners during prototyping and production phases.

SUPER73 is seeking a passionate and highly creative Vehicle Designer to join our growing design team and help shape the future of electric bikes. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to concept development, production design, and visualization, bringing ideas to life from initial sketches and concept exploration through CAD development and final production.

The ideal candidate has a strong eye for form, proportion, and detail, along with a deep passion for bikes, motorcycles, and automotive culture. You are highly motivated, eager to learn, and excited to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product development, and marketing, to create innovative products that challenge convention and redefine the riding experience.

You bring a proactive, enthusiastic mindset and thrive in a fast-paced, design-driven environment, balancing independent creative work with collaborative problem-solving.

This role reports directly to the Head of Design and is based in our Irvine office, with a hybrid work schedule.

What You’ll Do

• Develop design proposals for future vehicle and product programs through sketching, rendering, and CAD

What You’ll Bring

• Strong passion for vehicles, motorcycles, and product design
• Strong sketching, ideation, and visual communication skills
• Solid understanding of form, proportion, packaging, and surface development
• High attention to detail with sensitivity to fit, finish, and build quality
• Ability to take feedback, iterate quickly, and adapt in a fast-paced environment
• Positive, enthusiastic attitude with the ability to work independently and within a team
• Strong communication and presentation skills

Qualifications

• Degree in Industrial Design, Transportation Design, Product Design, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of professional design experience.
• A portfolio demonstrating concept development, sketching, 3D modeling, and rendering skills, preferably focused on two-wheeled vehicles.
• Proficiency in one or more CAD and visualization tools.
• SolidWorks, Rhino, Alias, or Blender
• KeyShot or equivalent rendering software
• Familiarity with AI-assisted design workflows is a plus
• Understanding of manufacturing processes (metal fabrication, plastics, composites, CNC machining, casting, or soft goods integration) is a plus
• Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop)
