Job summary

Allscreens Nationwide Ltd in Andover is seeking an experienced Vehicle Damage Assessor to join our expanding team within a reputable independent automotive accident repair centre.

Starting salary from £45,000 per annum with an uncapped bonus scheme and on-target earnings of £70,000-£75,000. 30 days' annual leave, optional overtime, and access to industry-leading training and development are available.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in vehicle estimating within an automotive accident repair environment.
• Audatex training/qualification is essential.
• ATA accreditation and manufacturer-approved training desirable but not mandatory; training can be provided.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate estimates complying with manufacturer, insurer and customer requirements.
• Maintain detailed records of estimates and authorisations as a Vehicle Damage Assessor.
• Follow up on unauthorised work and obtain proper authorisation before repairs.
• Liaise with bodyshop to communicate work scope and ensure smooth workflow.
• Manage communications with insurers regarding total loss determinations where applicable.
• Adhere to Health & Safety regulations relevant to the role.
• Ensure high customer satisfaction through effective communication and quality assessments.
• Stay updated on industry standards and estimating policies.
