Job summary

ALTEN Technology USA is seeking a Feature Specialist to drive validation for Vehicle Connectivity and Security across in-vehicle infotainment and connected services. You will own functional objective libraries, write end-to-end test plans, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust features.

The role emphasizes strong communication, leadership, and the ability to analyze risk (HARA), perform benchmarking, and support ride-along events as part of the vehicle integration

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from ABET-accredited program.
• Three years of engineering experience in automotive industry.
• Strong understanding of operational architecture, use cases, vehicle and software life cycle.
• Experience with vehicle connectivity design and/or testing.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain functional objective library and test plans.
• Create test plans and procedures; support issue triage and testing for domain.
• Lead benchmarking activities and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
• Support platform engineers in triage and ride/drive events as needed.
• Define and describe functional and dysfunctional behavior; perform risk analysis (HARA).
