Job summary

BRAKEmax Tire & Service Centers in Tucson seeks a General Service Technician to perform routine maintenance tasks including oil changes, tire mounting, balance, and basic repairs. You will follow shop directives, document vehicle conditions, and help keep the service bay clean and organized.

The role involves customer interaction, driving a company vehicle for pickups, and assisting in shop operations. Valid driver’s license and willingness to work weekends are required.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid, clean driver's license or obtain one within 30 days of hire.
• General understanding of mechanical and undercarriage systems.
• Able to work a minimum of five days per week, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Perform tire mounting/dismounting, wheel balancing and rotation.
• Execute oil changes and basic services as directed by the Shop Manager.
• Note vehicle condition and safety concerns to management.
• Document vehicle condition using inspection/repair orders.
• Maintain shop cleanliness and organize areas.
• Safely transport customers or parts using company vehicle.
• Procure parts and supplies from vendors or corporate office.
• Operate company vehicle safely and obey traffic laws.
• Conduct state safety and emissions inspections ethically.
• Adhere to all safety procedures and company policies.
