Job summary

Ford of Montebello, Inc. is seeking a Porter in the Sales department. You will move and clean vehicles, ensure they remain in sound condition, and assist the general manager as requested. Duties include cleaning interiors/exteriors, refilling fluids, replacing batteries, and organizing lots to dealership standards.

Additional tasks include driving cars within the lot, creating key tags, and performing other duties as assigned. A valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret basic safety rules and maintenance instructions.
• Must be able to follow simple instructions and work under supervision.

Responsibilities

• Maintains vehicle inventory appearance by cleaning interiors and exteriors.
• Replenishes vehicle fluids and replaces batteries as needed.
• Keeps lots neat and orderly and moves cars per manager’s directions.
• Sweeps, shovels, or vacuums debris and removes waste.
• Inspects vehicles for cleanliness, damage, and compliance with standards.
• Drives vehicles to service lane, stalls, and parking area as required.
• Creates key tags for vehicles.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
