Job summary

DuPratt Ford Dixon is seeking a Porter to support the Sales department by moving and cleaning vehicles and keeping the lot organized. The role involves customer-vehicle pickups/deliveries and basic maintenance tasks as requested by management.

Responsibilities

• Keep the vehicle lot neat and orderly and move cars as directed by the used-vehicle manager.
• Clean interior and wash exterior of vehicles, including trunk, glove compartment, tires, and windows.
• Pickup and delivery of vehicles to customers as directed by management.
• Start vehicles daily and report problems; ensure vehicles are fueled.
• Pickup parts from the parts department.
• Perform light maintenance on vehicles as needed (e.g., wiper blades, tires, fluids).
• Ensure required forms and stickers are displayed properly.
• Additional tasks as assigned.

Education

No prior experience or training

Less than high school education; or up to one month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

High school diploma or GED; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
