Job summary

Dorle Controls LLC is seeking a software calibration engineer to support calibration, verification, and release of vehicle control software. You will drive in-vehicle testing to optimize performance and contribute to test plans and defect reporting across multidisciplinary teams.

The role requires a BS in a technical field (MS preferred) and experience with calibration tools like ATI Vision and Vector CANape. Travel and collaboration across groups are expected.

Qualifications

• BS in a technical field required.
• MS/MEng preferred for advanced roles.
• Knowledge of vehicle control software calibration fundamentals.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Experience with automotive data and calibration tools.
• Experience with test planning and defect reporting.

Responsibilities

• Participates in calibration, verification, release, and implementation of software.
• Integrates and optimizes vehicle performance via in-vehicle testing.
• Develops and executes test plans for requirements verification.
• Provides technical feedback on product changes.
• Supports running change software releases in calibration.
• Contributes to calibration plans including timing, quality, and budget.
• Translates customer requirements into calibration data.
• Collaborates with Control, Software, and Validation teams for testing and defect resolution.
• Aims for on-time software releases and calibration quality.
• Keeps up-to-date with software functionality and product requirements.
• Identifies opportunities to improve calibration and testing methods.
• Maintains positive relationships with other groups and PACCAR divisions.
