Job summary

EDAG Inc. is seeking a Tester to execute validation and verification tests on automotive body and interior components. You will define acceptance criteria, ensure regulatory compliance, and collaborate with design, manufacturing, and quality teams to troubleshoot issues.

Qualifications

Good knowledge of automotive closures and interior test requirements and standards.
Automotive OEM experience.
Engineering degree required.

Responsibilities

Execute validation and verification tests on body system components and subsystems.
Define test methods, acceptance criteria, and test environments.
Document findings and provide root cause analysis when required.
Work with design, manufacturing, and quality teams to troubleshoot and resolve test failures.
Document test results in detailed engineering reports.
Maintain traceability of issues and test findings through issue tracking systems (e.g.: JIRA).
Present test results to internal stakeholders and participate in design reviews.
Manage, track, and deliver any required test property updates and retrofits.
Drive delivery of testing to project milestones.
Ensure quality test reports and proper data collection.
Deliver efficient test property usage through re-use strategies.
Communicate all test results to the cross-functional team.
