Job summary

AutoNation is seeking a Vehicle Acquisition Specialist in Amarillo to acquire inventory by purchasing customer vehicles. You will provide an exceptional customer experience, manage expectations, and communicate throughout the We'll Buy Your Car process.

The role offers flexible hours and hourly pay plus a bonus for each vehicle purchased, with opportunities to grow within a nationwide dealer network. Join a team focused on trust, transparency, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Extremely self-motivated with goal-setting ability.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Experience in sales or customer service preferred.
• Ability to drive an exceptional Customer experience.
• Familiarity with technology and making offers on vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Responds to incoming leads through AutoNation and third-party websites, by phone, internet and walk-in traffic.
• Utilizes all available resources to identify and engage private parties looking to sell their vehicle.
• Set up appointments with potential customers to visit the dealership for an appraisal.
• Executes the AutoNation We'll Buy Your Car Same-Day Payment process.
• Reviews vehicle condition reports and inspects vehicles onsite.
• Interacts with customers throughout the day, both in person and over the phone.
• Refer customers who prefer to trade-in instead of selling their vehicles to the sales team.
