Colorado State University’s Center for Environmental Management of Military Lands (CEMML) seeks a Land Rehabilitation and Maintenance Vegetation Management Work Crew Technician (Technical/Support I) to support ITAM at Schofield Barracks, Wahiawa, HI. This is a full-time, on-site position requiring a valid driver’s license and pre-employment background check.

CEMML applies the latest and most appropriate science to promote the sustainable management of natural and cultural resources on Department of Defense (DoD) and other public lands. We provide technical support, conduct applied research, and offer career development and learning opportunities to support resource stewardship. We collaborate with our sponsors and within CSU to resolve complex environmental issues, leaving a legacy of science-based decisions that sustain our resources for future generations. **For full consideration, please apply by November 27, 2026, 11:59 PM (MT).** ## Essential Job Duties:* Conduct vegetation management activities supporting the Land Rehabilitation and Maintenance (LRAM) component of the Army’s Integrated Training Area Management (ITAM) Program at Schofield Barracks, Oahu, Hawaii.* Operate vegetation management equipment, including brush hogs, weed trimmers, and chainsaws.* Use manual tools, including shovels, root rakes, pick axes, and brush axes, to support vegetation management and land rehabilitation activities.## Conditions of Employment:* Ability to work in-person at Schofield Barracks on the Island of Oahu.
