Job summary

ASRC Federal Advanced Research LLC (AFAR) is seeking a System Administrator to join the E-IDS team supporting the FAA. This on-site role is based at the William J Hughes Technical Center in Egg Harbor Township, NJ.

Candidates must meet security clearance requirements and be eligible for FAA public trust. The position requires extensive experience with thin clients, VDI, and scripting to design, deploy, and maintain enterprise infrastructure across the center, with occasional travel and

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Programming or similar; or a related certificate may substitute.
• Nine (9) years of experience required; NAS experience desired.
• US citizenship or valid work authorization and three years US residency required.

Responsibilities

• Design and administer enterprise thin client VDI infrastructure as second-level engineering support.
• Organize lifecycle of 10ZiG endpoints and master images.
• Optimize VDI configuration and pools for seamless user experiences.
• Support deployments and facility configurations with deployment instructions for first level operators.
• Manage and maintain network and lab hardware infrastructure including KVMs and consoles.
