Assurit is currently seeking an experienced VDI Engineer to support one of our clients.

About the Role:

Assurit is seeking an experienced VDI Engineer with strong VMware administration expertise to support our client’s remote infrastructure initiatives. This is a primarily remote role with minimal travel, ideally suited for candidates based on the West Coast.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer and maintain VMware virtual infrastructure, including implementation and support of OS upgrades and patches on VMware servers.
• Ensure system integrity, performance, and security across all virtual desktop infrastructure environments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support virtualization efforts and resolve technical issues.
• Assist with ongoing monitoring, tuning, and scaling of VDI environments.
• Participate in periodic meetings or onsite engagements.

Required Qualifications:

• Proven experience in VMware administration.
• Hands-on experience applying OS upgrades and patches on VMware servers.
• Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning skills in a virtual environment.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Background in IT security or secure virtualization practices.
