Job summary

Everforth Apex Systems seeks a VDI Cloud Engineer in Ft Meade, MD to maintain secure desktop and cloud infrastructure onsite. You will monitor, troubleshoot, and support VDI and cloud services, ensuring high availability and security compliance.

The role requires Security+ CE and Azure Administrator Associate, U.S. citizenship, and the ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance. Experience with VMware/virtualization is essential and collaboration with cross-functional teams is required.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizen with ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance.
• Must have Security+ CE and Azure Administrator Associate certifications.
• YOE: Master’s +5, Bachelor’s +7, Associate’s +9 or 11+ years.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily operations and maintenance for VDI and cloud environment.
• Monitor availability, performance, capacity, and health; respond to alerts.
• Troubleshoot VMs, OS, apps, authentication, and networking; coordinate with teams.
• Perform patches, config changes, and maintenance per change management.
