Radiance Technologies is seeking a VDI Administrator to support the day-to-day operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and sustainment of an enterprise VDI environment using VMware ESXi/vSphere, Horizon, 10ZiG, Microsoft Azure, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365. The role is ideal for an IT professional aiming to grow in enterprise virtualization and cloud-based desktop environments.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of IT systems administration, desktop support, virtualization, or infrastructure operations.
• Basic working knowledge of VMware vSphere/ESXi and virtual machines.
• Experience administering Windows 10/11 and Windows Server.
• Basic knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP.
• Experience troubleshooting desktop, network, application, and user-access issues.
• Familiarity with PowerShell or Windows command-line tools.
• Ability to document work and escalate complex issues appropriately.
• Strong customer-service, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Top Secret Security Clearance, CompTIA Security+ certification.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain VDI infrastructure, desktop pools, virtual machines, and endpoint devices.
• Troubleshoot user connectivity, login, desktop, application, and peripheral issues.
• Perform routine VM, Horizon, Windows, and endpoint administration.
• Assist with desktop image updates, software deployments, patches, and configuration changes.
• Support user accounts, group memberships, permissions, and desktop entitlements.
• Investigate system alerts and performance issues and escalate complex problems to senior engineers.
• Maintain accurate technical documentation, procedures, and support records.
• Participate in maintenance activities, system upgrades, testing, and disaster-recovery exercises.
