Superior is seeking a VDC Project Manager to lead Virtual Design and Construction efforts that drive electrical construction projects across data centers, higher education, healthcare, enterprise, and industrial sectors. This role is based at our Columbus, Ohio headquarters, coordinating BIM deliverables and schedules from kickoff to closeout.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in VDC/BIM with Bluebeam/Navisworks/Revit and experience producing shop drawings, plus 5+ years in the electrical

• 3+ years of VDC/BIM experience with proficiency in Bluebeam, Navisworks and Revit, and experience producing shop drawings.
• 5+ years of experience in the electrical construction industry with a background in electrical design, Engineering, Project Operations, or Field Operations.
• Bonus: degree or certificate in Construction Systems Management, Engineering, or Construction Management; data centers/healthcare/industrial sector experience.

Responsabilidades

• Lead electrical BIM project teams, providing direction on scope, deliverables, and timelines.
• Own electrical BIM deliverables per contract, including 2D layouts, 3D models, prefabrication sheets, and install drawings.
• Review design drawings, specs, and BIM execution plans.
• Ensure BIM deliverables meet quality standards and align with project schedules.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Project Operations, and Field Operations to maintain quality and schedules.
• Identify constraints, review submittals, and write RFIs with the Project Operations teams.
• Manage BIM-related project finance including budget tracking, cost control, and change orders.
• Lead project meetings and provide regular updates to customers.
• Build client trust through responsive communication and strong collaboration.

Superior is looking for a VDC Project Manager to lead Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) efforts that drive successful electrical construction projects. The VDC Project Manager supports complex, high-impact projects across data centers, higher education, healthcare, enterprise, and industrial sectors. This role is based at our headquarters in Columbus, Ohio.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead electrical BIM project teams (modelers, VDC coordinators/designers, BIM managers, and third-party BIM sub-contractors), providing clear direction on scope, deliverables, and timelines
• Own electrical BIM deliverables per contract, including 2D layouts, 3D coordinated models, prefabrication sheets, and install drawings
• Review design drawings, specifications, and BIM execution plans
• Ensure BIM deliverables meet quality standards and are delivered in alignment with the project schedule from kickoff through closeout
• Collaborate with Engineering, Project Operations, and Field Operations, including regular jobsite walks, to ensure alignment on quality and project schedules
• Partner with Project Operations teams to identify constraints, review submittals, and write RFIs
• Manage BIM-related project finance, including budget tracking, cost control, and change orders
• Lead project meetings and provide regular updates to customers
• Build client trust through responsive communication, and strong collaboration and problem-solving

Your Expertise

• Required: You have at least 3 years of VDC/BIM experience, including proficiency with Bluebeam, Navisworks, and Revit, and experience producing shop drawings
• Required: You have at least 5 years of experience in the electrical construction industry, with a background in electrical design, Engineering, Project Operations, or Field Operations
• Bonus Points: You have earned an associate or bachelor’s degree in Construction Systems Management, Engineering, or a related field, or a Construction Management certificate
• Bonus Points: You have experience supporting projects in data centers, healthcare, or industrial sectors
