Job Summary:

They are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Virtual Construction (VC) Project Engineer to support project teams by leveraging digital tools such as BIM and VDC for complex building projects.

Responsibilities:

• Support project teams by leveraging digital tools such as BIM (Building Information Modeling), VDC (Virtual Design & Construction), and 3D modeling software to coordinate, plan, and help execute complex building projects.

• Provide detailed installation and coordination information to field crews to ensure accurate, efficient, and high-quality execution on-site.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.

• Possession of good hearing and vision, normal or corrected.

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

• Strong math and computer skills.

• Ability to work within a team to solve problems and accurately communicate the solution.

• Ability to communicate effectively with both field teams and Project Managers.

• Experience with AutoCAD, REVIT, Bluebeam or similar computer aided design software.

• Ability to read and review construction documents.

• Basic understanding of electrical construction.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

• Must be very detailed oriented.

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
