Job summary

Cerris Systems in Omaha, NE is seeking a VDC Modeler to produce graphical representations of design information using Revit for detailed working drawings. The candidate will review drawings to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.

Responsibilities include 3D modeling and drafting with Revit, Fabrication CADMEP, and AutoCAD; sizing plumbing and HVAC pipes; building and manipulating Revit Families; and coordinating with field and shop teams to support project communication.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two years of field training or apprenticeship preferred.
• One year or more of related work experience required.

Responsibilities

• Produce graphical representations of design information using Revit for detailed working drawings.
• Review engineering drawings to ensure adherence to specifications and standards.
• Model with Revit, Fabrication CADMEP, and AutoCAD as needed; build and manipulate Revit Families.
• Coordinate with field and shop teams to facilitate project communication.
• Maintain ongoing training and safety awareness as part of project execution.
