Job summary

The PENTA Building Group seeks a VDC Manager to lead planning and execution of VDC on assigned projects in Los Angeles County and Orange County, CA. You will own VDC delivery quality across visualization, model coordination, and field technology while directing VDC Engineers to meet schedule and budget requirements.

Travel may be required between Southern California project sites as needed, with a strong focus on leadership, collaboration, and continuous improvement of VDC processes.

Qualifications

• Degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field.
• 5–8 years of design and construction experience with VDC deliverables.
• Ability to direct work, give feedback, and maintain delivery standards.
• Strong understanding of VDC in preconstruction, coordination, field ops, and closeout.
• Experience representing VDC in project-level conversations with teams.

Responsibilities

• Own VDC delivery quality across visualization, model coordination, and field tech.
• Lead model coordination meetings and manage issue logs with trade partners.
• Represent VDC in project-level discussions with PMs, superintendents, and design teams.
• Direct VDC Engineers, set tasks, review outputs, and provide feedback.
• Support technology adoption and train field staff on workflows.
• Coordinate reality capture operations (laser scanning, drones).
• Support RFI resolution using model data and coordination outputs.
• Communicate project status to Sr VDC Manager and stakeholders.
