POSITIONSUMMARY:

TheVDC Manager 2 is responsible for managing the usage of VDC technologies for agiven project or multiple projects, including the completion of any contractualrequirements and utilizing the technology to maximize productivity and riskmitigation. This individual will ensure that the project(s) adhere to all VDCstandards and any owner or design team requirements. The position entailsmanaging all VDC-related team members and subcontractors involved in thevirtual aspect of a given project. The VDC Manager is responsible for ensuringthat the data produced in the virtual environment is implemented in the fieldproperly and is communicated to all parties involved in the project accurately.

MAJORDUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage the BIM coordination process and involvedsubcontractors, architects and designers of projects assigned.
• Develop the project-specific BIM execution plan and contractattachments and oversee the plan throughout the project.
• Develop the VDC section of the Project Execution Planning for yourprojects.
• Distribution of all model files to/from the parties involved.
• Reviewing and submitting all coordinated MEP drawings andsubmittals to the design team.
• Reviewing all proposed change orders related to MEP subcontractorsor other 3D integrated trades.
• Managing the coordinated and approved model for final submissionand approval by the design team.
• Distribution of the final model files to MCC personnel and subsinvolved for use in the field.
• QAQC support and field documentation follow-up forpost-coordination and system installations.
• Provide oversight on projects Senior VDC Engineers and VDCEngineers are running and provide advice from experience, as needed.
• Provide corporate training for VDC processes and assist inmaintaining VDC training videos in Cornerstone.
• Duties as listed in VDC Manager 1, VDC Engineer1, and VDC Engineer2 descriptions.
• Responsible for conducting themselves in accordance with ourGuiding Principles and exhibiting attributes matching the Way We Work.
• Other duties as assigned.

MINIMUMQUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s Degree- Construction Management, Engineering or equivalent. May substitute required education degree with related experience on a one-to-one basis
• 12 years of industry experience

WORKINGCONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL EFFORTS:

• Ability to physically stand, bend, sit for long periods, and squat throughout the day.
• Ability to repeat the same movements.
• Ability to communicate effectively to participate fully in meetings, video conferences, and phone calls.
• Use hands to type, handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or control.
• Occasionally lift, pull, or move up to 25 lbs.
• Occasional travel will be required, primarily in the metropolitan area but sometimes domestically (must have a valid Driver’s License).
