The VDC BIM Manager is a full-time, on-site role located in Houston, TX, responsible for leading Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) and Building Information Modeling (BIM) efforts across assigned projects. This role oversees the creation, coordination, and maintenance of BIM models, ensuring accurate representation of architectural, structural, and MEP systems and alignment with project standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing model workflows, facilitating clash detection and resolution meetings, collaborating with project managers, superintendents, and trade partners, and supporting preconstruction and construction teams with digital coordination. The VDC BIM Manager will develop and implement VDC/BIM execution plans, provide training and guidance to project team members, and ensure that modeling processes support scheduling, logistics, and quality control. The role also involves continuous improvement of VDC workflows, documentation of best practices, and close coordination with internal stakeholders and external consultants to optimize project delivery.
