Virginia Commonwealth University's School of the Arts seeks a Resource Lab Assistant (Non-Benefited) for the Art Foundation Program. You will support the resource lab equipment, assist students, demonstrate projects, and help manage prints and digital files.
This on-site role emphasizes collaboration, responsibility, and hands-on use of Adobe editing tools, DTG and laser equipment, vinyl cutters, and large format printers, while maintaining order and inventory.
Resource Lab Assistant (Non-Benefited) - Art Foundation Program - School of the Arts
Computer lab monitors will provide support for all equipment housed in the Art Foundation Program resource lab.
Duties include:
Engaging in and overseeing special projects based on the candidates’ area of expertise.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's in the arts or an arts related field or equivalent professional experience and training.
Professional experience in Art & Design
Demonstrated experience working in and fostering an environment of respect, professionalism and civility with a population of faculty, staff, and students from all backgrounds and experiences, or a commitment to do so as a staff member at VCU.
