This role is with VCU Health, with WayUp partnering to hire top talent.

Sign-On Bonus: $10,000 for offers accepted by June 30, 2025. Terms and Conditions apply.

Weekend Incentive Program: Fri-Sat-Sun, 7PM-7AM, Night Shift (3x12s).

Job Responsibilities

The Clinical Nurse I, II, and III roles involve providing age-specific patient care based on medical orders and multidisciplinary plans. Responsibilities include administering medications, recognizing patient status changes, and providing education and leadership within the unit.

Qualifications

Licensure: Current RN licensure in Virginia or eligible/compact state. AHA BLS HCP Certification or equivalent.

Experience: RN experience varies by level (none for Clin I, 12-24 months for Clin II, 3+ years for Clin III). Preferred experience includes clinical or academic healthcare settings and specific patient populations.

Education: Diploma or Associate Degree from an approved nursing program. Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

Additional Requirements

Follows physician orders, practices within Virginia regulations, and adheres to ANA Code of Ethics and hospital policies. Supervises team members and works all shifts, including weekends and holidays. Physical activities include lifting, standing, walking, and reaching.
