The Veterans Canteen Service at the St. Louis VA Medical Center is hiring full-time Food Service Workers to serve America's Heroes in our cafes and retail markets.

A valid REAL ID is required. Applicants should be able to read instructions, perform basic math, stand/walk frequently, lift up to 40 pounds, and have at least one year of food service experience, though not mandatory. Excellent customer service skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of experience in the food service industry is preferred but not required.
• Must be able to stand, walk, and bend frequently.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds unassisted.
