VC Stack is hiring an Investment Manager to work closely with the Managing Director for the Techstars Healthcare Program in Washington DC. You'll ensure operational success throughout the accelerator cycle, focusing on sourcing, selecting, and accelerating company growth.
This role demands an understanding of early-stage startup operations and investment processes, active networking with entrepreneurs, and mentoring them in their fundraising efforts. Compensation ranges from $110k to $130k base with a 10% bonus.
We are hiring an Investment Manager to work closely with the Managing Director for the Techstars Healthcare Program in Washington DC. In this role you will be responsible for ensuring the operational success of the full accelerator cycle from pre-program and founder onboarding to 13 weeks of programming and Demo Day. This includes utilizing tools and developing processes to manage program data, scheduling, logistics and event management, including Demo Day, the culmination of the program.
As an Investment Manager, you will also be focussed on sourcing, selecting, and helping to accelerate the growth of companies in which we invest, during the 3‑month accelerator and beyond. You will have the opportunity to have a front‑row seat to the creation of some of the most prolific companies of the next decade, and help support their success.
In this role, you will bring to the program an understanding of early stage startup operations, investing and fundraising. You will meet regularly with entrepreneurs, mentors and other members of the Techstars network (investors, community members, prospective partners, etc.), and you should expect to be well versed on emerging trends and technologies in the venture capital industry. You will be intimately involved in the support of our founders in the program, helping them accelerate traction through customer development and sales support.
You will also be a critical partner for them in their fundraising efforts, helping them build their pitch decks, hone their pitch, and help them run an efficient and effective process. You will build strong bonds with the startups you bring into the program, acting as a resource and looking out for relevant opportunities to support their success.
Compensation: $110,000.00 – $130,000.00 base with 10% bonus
