Moderne Ventures is a strategic, multi-stage Venture Capital firm with a 17-year track record, generating top tier returns across five funds.

Moderne Ventures is seeking a highly-motivated undergraduate intern to join our Moderne Platform team. In this collaborative, entry-level role, this individual will learn important skills and gain a unique professional experience at the intersection of Venture, Real Estate and Technology.

Responsibilities and Duties Include:

Digital Marketing/Communications/Event Planning

• Asset creation including email campaigns, newsletters, social media and blogs
• Support with event management, logistics and coordination
• Curate business success stories from our portfolio companies and corporate partners

Data & Research

• Synthesize financial and KPI metrics and draw measurable insights to track program success
• Support team with research and data collection on Moderne Network
• Develop relevant content that captures key ROI and programmatic success

Administration/Project Management

• Quality control and data cleanliness of Moderne portfolio, Network, etc.
• Complete other administrative tasks as needed

Qualifications

• Must be based in Chicago*
• Current enrollment in a bachelor’s degree program; this internship can fulfill an academic credit*

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior internship experience in Marketing, Communications, Sales, Project Management or experience in Real Estate or Venture Capital
• Willing ‘do-it-all’ attitude and work ethic
• Organizational excellence, discipline and determination
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Mastery in PowerPoint and Excel
• Demonstrated passion for technology, startups and knowledge of the tech system
• Understanding of Canva, AI platforms, Graphic Design, Adobe Photoshop also a plus
