This is a core investment team role with full participation in the deal lifecycle.Responsibilities include networking at industry and VC events to generate deal flow, meeting with and evaluating early-stage startups and making investment recommendations, participating in due diligence, competitive analyses, and sector deep dives, preparing investment memos and presenting to the Investment Committee, supporting deal negotiations and closings, analyzing industry trends and authoring market research briefings, and collaborating with the Toyota Ventures platform team to support portfolio companies.Qualifications: 4+ years of experience in a related role; prior experience in venture capital or an operational role at a technology company preferred. Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, engineering, or a relevant field. Strong understanding of deep tech sectors; hands-on technical or product management experience is a plus.
