Position: VBA Developer (Full time, Permanent)

Base Location: Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh

Working Mode: Remote, Anywhere in India

Ictect - The Intelligent Content Company is seeking a highly skilled VBA expert to help us transition and update existing VBA macros, originally developed for MS Office 2003 Word, to be compatible with the Office 365 version. This individual will play a key role in ensuring that the migrated macros are functioning efficiently, while also preserving the original workflow requirements for our customers.

Responsibilities

1. Review and analyse the existing VBA macros developed for Office 2003 Word.
2. Modify, rewrite, or develop new code as necessary to ensure compatibility with Office 365.
3. Test the migrated macros for functionality and performance.
4. Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve any issues arising from the migration process.
5. Ensure that all macros maintain their intended functionality post-migration.
6. Document all changes made during the migration process.
7. Work closely with the in-house team to understand the original requirements and workflow.
8. Provide regular updates on the progress and any challenges faced during migration.

Desired Experience

1. Proven experience in developing, updating, and troubleshooting VBA macros for MS Office applications, especially in MS Office Word.
2. Familiarity with both Office 2003 Word and Office 365's VBA environments.
