Description & Requirements Maximus is seeking a VB.Net developer responsible for supporting and developing Aidvantage VB.Net automations. The role involves collaborating with developers, architects, business analysts, and testers.
Position Details
- This is a remote position. Candidates can be located anywhere within the United States but must work East Coast business core hours.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Analyze computer systems, gather requirements, model, configure, monitor, and support mission-critical applications.
- Lead application performance monitoring and testing, identify bottlenecks, and collaborate with developers to implement fixes.
- Work closely with business and systems analysts to define system requirements aligning with customer needs.
- Provide project status updates regarding progress, challenges, issues, and user satisfaction.
Job-Specific Essential Duties
- Align development activities with scope, schedule, priorities, and business objectives.
- Meet operational readiness requirements including performance benchmarks.
- Serve as Scrum Master for agile teams, facilitating planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Ensure completion of design, development, and testing tasks per project guidelines.
- Manage product configurations, enhancements, and deployment according to release plans.
- Develop and finalize technical documentation.
- Coordinate deployment of software releases to various environments.
- Support business development by providing technical solutions and architecture documentation for proposals.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- 5-7 years of relevant professional experience.
- US citizenship and ability to clear Department of Education 6c clearance.
- Proficiency in VB.Net development for at least five years.
- Experience with enterprise application patterns and Object Oriented Programming.
- Strong database design and query tuning skills with MS SQL Server.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps for version control and deployment.
- Ability to work independently or in teams, managing multiple complex tasks.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
- .Net certification preferred.
