Job summary

GardaWorld is hiring Vault Attendants at our Cash Services Headquarters in Boca Raton, FL. You will work full-time on a Second/Evening shift from 3:00pm to 1:00am, Monday through Saturday, performing secure handling of moneybags and related equipment.

Responsibilities include distributing and receiving money, verifying bulk cash, tracking missing items, and ensuring proper custody of route keys, deposits and firearms. Prior experience in security or cash handling is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and maintain a clean driving record.
• Must have a high school diploma/GED or equivalent.
• Must obtain guard and gun permits per state.
• Must demonstrate clear oral and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Distribute and receipt moneybags, receipts, schedules to staff.
• Verify bulk money from vault and other sources.
• Assist in tracking and reporting missing or misrouted items.
• Ensure collection of IDs, fuel cards, route keys, deposits, and equipment at end of shift.
• Perform additional duties as needed.

Vault Attendants

Vault Attendants are responsible for ensuring that the Driver/Messengers and Crew Leaders receive the correct orders, schedules, equipment and money to service clients in a safe and efficient manner. Vault Attendants are also responsible for check-in and check-out of routes, changing custody of their liability, paperwork, and equipment including handheld scanners and other data entry devices. May be required to perform Driver/Messenger and/or Crew Leader job responsibilities based on operational needs.

Full time - Monday to Saturday

Second/Evening shift - 3:00pm - 1:00am

Starting pay

$18.50 an/hour

Job Requirements

• Responsible for the distribution and receipt of moneybags, receipts, daily route guides, route keys and schedules to Driver/Messenger and/or Crew Leaders.
• Verifying bulk money received from the vault, other departments and external sources.
• Assists in tracking, resolving and reporting missing or misrouted items.
• Ensures that identification cards, fuel cards, route keys, deposits, moneybags, receipts, daily guide sheets, change boxes, firearms, monies and other route equipment are collected at end of shift.
• Additional job duties may be assigned as necessary.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must have all required driver’s licenses and must maintain a satisfactory driving record.
• Must have a high school diploma/general equivalency diploma or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Must obtain and maintain all required guard and gun permits per state.
• Must demonstrate clarity and proficiency in oral and written communication. Must be able to communicate effectively in person and by radio.
