Job summary

Frost in Texas is seeking a Vault Teller to manage coin and currency within the bank vault, verify deposits, and maintain cash levels with accuracy and integrity.

You will monitor cash balances, verify sums from branches and customers, and prepare shipments to the Federal Reserve or correspondent banks. This role requires a fast-paced, team-oriented mindset and a commitment to security and excellence.

Responsibilities

• Supplies branches, correspondent banks and customers with coin and currency.
• Monitors and maintains established cash levels in the vault and orders cash as needed.
• Verifies sums of coin and currency received from branches, banks, customers and tellers.
• Verify, capture, and balance check deposit items and audit check image quality.
• Contacts appropriate sender in case of error.
• Prepares and ships excess coin and currency to the Federal Reserve Bank or correspondent banks.
• Balances completed work and compiles reports showing inventory as needed.
• Maintains security over area of operation following established procedures.

Who you are:

As a Vault Teller , you are our director of currency. You will be responsible for maintaining and monitoring levels of coin and/or currency in the bank vault. You will verify sums of coin and currency received from branches, correspondent banks, customers, and money from tellers. More than that, this role is about following established procedures and doing it with integrity, caring and excellence in mind.
