Job summary

Jay Peak Resort is seeking a Vault Administrator to oversee daily vault operations, staff scheduling, and secure cash handling. You will maintain cash records, perform reconciliations, and coordinate with Security and Accounting to ensure accuracy and compliance.

The role requires a certification or relevant experience and strong attention to detail, with proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook. This is a full-time, year-round position at Jay Peak Resort in Vermont.

Qualifications

• One-year college or technical school certification or 3–6 months related experience.
• Strong numerical and cash handling skills.
• Ability to prepare clear reports and correspondence.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily Vault operations and enforce cash handling, documentation, and security procedures.
• Prepare staff schedules and coordinate coverage.
• Review daily cash counts, logs, deposit records, and supporting documents for accuracy.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly Vault reconciliations; investigate discrepancies and report unresolved items to the Accounting Manager.
• Coordinate operating banks, change requests, and cash discrepancies with departments; supervise access and controls.
