Function

Responsible for balancing the main vault and accurately preparing all the deposits for the daily activity of the Nugget Casino Resort. Maintain vault records and reports to ensure compliance with industry standards while following prescribed procedures to maintain security.

Responsibilities
  • Process all fills and credits requested in a timely, accurate and efficient manner.
  • Maintain revenue banks and logs.
  • Verify and accurately record all revenue of incoming banks.
  • Responsible for the required banks during concerts, festivals, and outdoor events.
  • Reconcile banks from concerts, festivals, and outdoor events daily and in a timely manner, while preparing new banks for that day's events.
  • Ensure all paperwork is completed in a timely and efficient manner and placed into the proper accounting envelopes.
  • Verify drop funds when appropriate.
  • Prepare special banks and verify prize monies as directed.
  • Fill NRT, CTK and SSC kiosks when necessary.
  • Verify all monies coming into the vault.
  • Establish and maintain effective channels of communication with all levels of the Nugget team and guests.
  • Using the Nugget's system of recognition, recognize team members who are going "above and beyond" as appropriate.
  • Knowledgeable of and consistently follow Nugget policies and procedures as well as appropriate local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Perform work in a safe manner and always maintain a safe environment for fellow team members and guests alike.
  • Immediately report unsafe conditions, team member or guest incidents to Security, Management, and the Safety Manager.
  • Maintain a positive and professional image for the Nugget when performing duties or representing the Nugget and encourages others to do the same.
  • Regular predictable attendance is required.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Vault Supervisor

Minimum Requirements
  • Minimum 21 years of age.
  • High School diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Effectively communicate with others both verbally and in written form using the English language.
  • Minimum 1-year previous casino cage/vault or banking experience is required.
  • Advanced math skills, 10 key by touch, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure while multi-tasking.
  • Employee Gaming registration required.
  • Ability to walk, stand, or sit for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to lift, and move product up to 50 lbs.
  • Fine finger manipulation.
  • Work environment may include smoke and variable temperature, lighting, and noise levels.
  • Work may be performed indoors and outdoors during special events.
