Requirements
- Experience working in a Tax department (big 4 environment focused on tax and reporting), particularly in preparing and filing tax returns
- SAP experience (not mandatory)
- Hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Tax, Accounting, Finance, Management, or similar; being a chartered accountant (ACA, ACCA, CTA, CPA, or similar) is highly valued
- Team-player driven by excellence, with good organizational skills and attention to detail
- Enjoy working in a fast-paced, challenging environment
- Fluent in written and spoken English
- Remote work experience is not required but considered a plus
- Strong analytical skills

- Prepare and submit VAT returns and related reports across various jurisdictions (EMEA/APAC)
- Collaborate with tax advisors for report preparation and submission concerning VAT obligations
- Reconcile VAT accounts, analyze discrepancies, and liaise with accounts payable, receivable, and accounting teams to review transactions and correct errors
- Analyze invoices for compliance with local tax laws and proper tax treatment, requesting corrections when needed
- Manage and ensure compliance with e-invoicing regulations across multiple EMEA/APAC jurisdictions
- Assist with VAT registrations and de-registrations
- Support VAT audits and participate in ad hoc research and projects, including expansion into new countries and VAT treatment of new operations
- Monitor legislative changes in VAT laws and evaluate their impact on the business
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance VAT reporting efficiency
- Perform VAT number checks to ensure compliance
- Regularly review and update VAT records for accuracy in invoicing and reporting
- Coordinate with the tax technology team to ensure source data accuracy
