Shaner Hotels has an exciting opportunity at our AC Hotel Columbus Dublin, located near dining and entertainment hotspots, just miles from downtown Columbus and within walking distance to historic Dublin. The hotel features floor-to-ceiling windows, a glass elevator to VASO—our rooftop restaurant and bar with panoramic views of the Scioto River and Historic Dublin—along with the AC Kitchen serving Spanish-inspired breakfast and a well-designed lobby and meeting rooms.

Job Description
  1. Be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and varied shifts.
  2. Create and design new and unique menu items.
  3. Assist the Executive Chef in establishing and adhering to department budgets.
  4. Ensure all food and beverage products are prepared and served consistently according to hotel standards.
  5. Maintain cleanliness and excellent condition of all equipment through inspections and preventative maintenance programs.
  6. Comply with all health, safety, and labor regulations at federal, state, county, and municipal levels, pertaining to the kitchen, staff, and guests.
Responsibilities

Plan, prepare, set up, and deliver quality food service in all food production areas, following standards and plating guides. Keep work areas and equipment organized, clean, and sanitized.

Qualifications
  1. Proven experience as a line cook or similar role.
  2. Strong attention to detail and creativity.
  3. High school diploma or equivalent; culinary and food safety certifications preferred.
  4. Knowledge of sanitation, food preparation, baking techniques, and nutrition; safe food handling certification preferred.
  5. Effective communication skills with guests, management, and co-workers.
  6. Physical stamina to stand long hours and perform repetitive tasks.
