Planned Parenthood California Central Coast (PPCCC) is seeking a Vasectomy Contract Provider to deliver direct medical care, including vasectomy consultations, procedures, and post-procedure follow-up, in alignment with PPCCC standards. Collaboration with the health care team is essential to ensure safe, quality reproductive health services for patients.

Qualifications

Experience performing vasectomy procedures.
Ability to relate to patients of all genders with professionalism.
Must function independently with minimal supervision.

Accuracy and attention to detail are essential.
CA driver’s license and reliable transportation; travel within service area required.
DEA Registration and CPR (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

Provide vasectomy consultations, informed consent counseling, and procedural services.
Perform vasectomy procedures within scope of practice.
Assess medical history and patient candidacy for vasectomy.
Manage post-procedure complications and provide follow-up care.
Order, perform, and interpret laboratory and diagnostic testing.
Maintain compliance with medical protocols and guidelines.
Participate in staff meetings and continuing education.
