Job summary

La Jolla Vein Care in La Jolla, CA is seeking a skilled Vascular Technologist (RVT or RVS) for a part-time, 1099 contract. The role offers 16–32 hours weekly, weekday schedules, no nights or weekends.

You will perform venous insufficiency studies, generate reports via cloud PACS, and educate patients. Ideal candidates have 2+ years of vascular ultrasound experience and required RVT/ RVS credentials.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of vascular ultrasound experience, including reflux studies.
• Proficient in imaging patients in standing and reverse Trendelenburg positions.
• Knowledge of DVT studies and vein mapping.

Responsibilities

• Perform venous insufficiency studies, DVT studies, and vein mapping.
• Generate preliminary reports via cloud-based PACS.
• Relay abnormal results to reading or referring physician.
• Educate patients and explain procedures with professionalism and clarity.
• Maintain a clean and compliant work area following IAC protocols.
• Collaborate with the clinical team to deliver high-quality care.
• Perform ABIs.
