Job summary

HCA Florida Heart and Vascular Care is seeking a Vascular Technologist for a full-time, days-only schedule with no nights, weekends, or holidays. You will perform vascular ultrasound procedures and help coordinate patient flow to ensure efficient, high-quality testing.

The ideal candidate has at least one year of ultrasound experience and holds RVT or RDMS credentials. Excellent teamwork and adherence to patient-centered care are expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year experience as an ultrasound technologist/sonographer.
• RVT certification or RDMS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform vascular ultrasonic procedures as directed by physicians.
• Scheduling patients for procedures.
• Explaining procedures to patients to assure cooperation and optimum test results.
• Positioning patients and selecting the appropriate transducer.
• Conducting scanning procedures using ultrasound equipment by moving scanner over specified body areas and adjusting equipment to focus.
• Performs exams properly and in a timely manner.
• Takes patient history and retrieves previous files.
• Coordinates patient flow and checks daily list to ensure all exams are complete.
• Maintaining equipment and supplies.
• Ordering and stocking all supplies.
• Maintain department records, reports and files.
• Perform other duties as required.
• Must read and adhere to Physician Services policies and Code of Conduct and Mission and Values.
