Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Graduation from an accredited Diagnostic Ultrasound Program
• Registered ARDMS in a specialty
• 1–3 years of clinical ultrasound experience
• Knowledge of B-Mode, M-Mode, color and Doppler imaging
• Experience with EPIC and GE PACS systems
• 30 CE credits per 3-year cycle to maintain active ARDMS status

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound studies for carotid, peripheral, and visceral circulations
• Provide preliminary interpretation and transmit results to referring physicians
• Ensure exam reports are out within 24–48 hrs
• Maintain imaging workflow in EPIC and GE PACS and verify labeling and orientation
• Maintain patient care and equipment quality
