Job summary

Doral Health & Wellness in Brooklyn, NY is seeking an experienced Vascular Ultrasound Technician for our diagnostic imaging team. You will perform arterial and venous studies, Doppler and duplex examinations, and document findings to support accurate diagnoses.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography or Vascular Technology program.
• ARDMS-RVT or equivalent vascular certification required.
• Experience performing vascular ultrasound, Doppler and duplex studies.
• Strong knowledge of vascular anatomy, physiology, and pathology.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with physicians and staff.

Responsibilities

• Perform arterial and venous vascular ultrasound examinations.
• Conduct Doppler and duplex ultrasound studies per established protocols.
• Obtain high-quality diagnostic images and document findings accurately.
• Prepare patients, explain procedures, and ensure comfort and safety.
• Operate and maintain vascular ultrasound equipment.
• Collaborate with physicians to support accurate diagnosis and patient care.
• Maintain complete documentation in the EMR and adhere to infection control standards.
