Atlantic Health in Morristown, NJ is seeking a Vascular Tech II to perform comprehensive ultrasound exams, follow established protocols, verify patient identity and ensure safety and education during procedures.

You will complete testing documentation, report critical results promptly, communicate with physicians and staff, contribute to QA, maintain a clean lab, and mentor teammates. A strong emphasis on teamwork and patient safety is essential to our vascular imaging services.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform vascular ultrasound procedures following established protocols.
• Ability to communicate clearly with patients, physicians and staff.
• Demonstrated teamwork and willingness to mentor colleagues.

Responsabilités

• Performs comprehensive ultrasound exams following protocols and reports examinations.
• Verifies identity and informs patient during procedures to ensure education, cooperation and safety.
• Completes testing information accurately and timely; ensures prompt reporting of critical results.
• Communicates with physicians, patients and center personnel; contributes to policy improvement.
• Maintains teamwork, accountability and mentoring within the department.
• Keeps work area clean; adheres to infection control policies and lab opening/closing procedures.
• Identifies learning needs and participates in meetings to advance professional growth.
• Vascular Tech. 1+ Venous Insufficiency and/or Arterial Duplex and/or vein mapping +/- radials.
