Job summary

Our Lady of Fatima Hospital in Providence, RI is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist, Vascular for a 13-week contract. The role supports inpatient, outpatient, and ED populations with vascular and abdominal studies, and requires ARDMS RDMS and RVT credentials.

The shift is day shift, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, with call requirements for 1 week and 1 weekend per month. Candidates must have at least 2 years of general ultrasound experience in a hospital setting and current BLS certification.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of general ultrasound experience in a hospital setting.
• ARDMS RDMS (Abdomen and OB/GYN) required.
• RVT certification required.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct ultrasound examinations covering abdominal, pelvic/transvaginal, renal, scrotal, and vascular studies as specified.
• Evaluate images for quality and accuracy and ensure patient safety.
• Notify interpreting providers promptly of significant findings.
• Maintain accurate documentation of examinations performed and patient interactions.
