Job summary

Emory Healthcare’s TEC Vascular Surgery at Spivey Station is seeking a skilled vascular ultrasound tech. You will perform diagnostic vascular ultrasound and related physiologic procedures, ensuring high-quality patient care and accurate image acquisition for complex cases.

You will guide patients through procedures, participate as a preceptor when needed, and help maintain supplies and records. A strong ultrasound background and ARDMS/CCI credentials are required, with a commitment to safety and

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of ultrasound technology, vascular technology or a cardiovascular program.
• Current ARDMS or CCI registries (RVT/RVS/RT(VS)) required.
• 3 years of vascular imaging experience.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Performs safe vascular ultrasound and physiologic scans with high quality patient care.
• Explains procedures to patients and families.
• Prepares patients for vascular procedures with proper technique.
• Acts as a preceptor for new staff and students; provides leadership in the absence of a supervisor.
• Manages required paperwork and stock levels; assists with supplies.
