Job summary

Kelsey-Seybold Clinic in Houston, TX is seeking a Cardiology Laboratory Vascular Ultrasound Technologist to operate high-frequency ultrasound equipment for diagnostic purposes across multiple vascular studies. RIS and PACS experience is required, with 2+ years in vascular ultrasound and venous duties at a minimum.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED from an accredited program.
• RVT or RVS BLS Certification.
• 2+ years of direct clinical experience in vascular Ultrasound with 1 year cumulative in venous sonography.
• Ability to use computer keyboard and grasp elements of image acquisition.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills. May be required to work extended shifts as directed.

Responsibilities

• Operate ultrasound equipment using high frequency sound waves for diagnostic purposes according to policies, procedures, and protocols of the KSC Cardiology Laboratory Department and Kelsey-Seybold Clinic.
• Imaging venous and arterial studies and participate in Vein Clinic procedures as assigned by site.
• Utilize RIS and PACS to complete clerical processes.
• May be assigned to other duties, technical or non-technical as needed by supervisor.
