Job summary

UHC United Hospital Center in Bridgeport, WV, seeks an experienced Vascular Sonographer to perform advanced non-invasive vascular imaging, document results, and support the care team. The role emphasizes accurate EPIC entries and timely communication.

Ideal candidates are graduates of an accredited Medical Imaging Program with RVT or RVS credentials and current BLS. This is a part-time, on-site role with 16 scheduled hours weekly.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Medical Imaging Program.
• RVT through ARDMS or RVS through CCI within 2 years of hire.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs advanced non-invasive vascular imaging procedures.
• Ensures proper billing of procedures and prioritizes patient scheduling.
• Coordinates scheduling to insure timely procedure completion.
• Obtains pre-procedure information and answers patient questions.
• Documents procedures in the patient chart and informs physician of completion.
