Job summary

The Mount Sinai Health System in New York seeks a Vascular Coordinator to perform basic and advanced ultrasound exams and coordinate patient flow. You will greet patients, prepare and position them, and perform arterial, venous, and intracranial duplex studies under established protocols.

Responsibilities include reviewing histories, inputting data, maintaining equipment, and collaborating with physicians. A two-year ultrasound program and RVT/RVS/RDMS with BLS are preferred.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• Two-year ultrasound program with clinical and didactic education.
• RVT, RVS or RDMS certification.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• 1–3 years of technical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients, triage and escort to exam, assist with mobility.
• Prepare patients and position for vascular ultrasound exams.
• Perform arterial, venous, and intracranial testing using duplex imaging.
• Review patient history and coordinate with referring physicians.
• Operate and calibrate ultrasound equipment; troubleshoot issues.
• Document data in the practice management system.
