Job summary

Merit Health River Region is seeking a Vascular Ultrasonographer to perform non-invasive vascular imaging and support accurate diagnoses. You will ensure patient safety, comfort, and high-quality image acquisition while following established protocols and regulatory standards.

The role requires proficiency with vascular ultrasound equipment, knowledge of Doppler techniques, and collaboration with physicians and staff in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of vascular ultrasound experience preferred.
• RVT or RVS certification is required.
• BCLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform vascular ultrasound exams per approved protocols to capture diagnostic images of arteries and veins.
• Obtain clinical history from patient interviews or records to support imaging.
• Review prior studies and correlate history to optimize exam quality.
• Document findings per physician and department standards.
• Present preliminary impressions to the interpreting physician.
