Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Vascular Ultrasonographer role based in Silverdale, WA. The Vascular Ultrasonographer will perform high-quality vascular ultrasound examinations, including diagnostic imaging of arteries and veins, following established protocols and physician orders. Responsibilities include preparing patients for procedures, operating and maintaining ultrasound equipment, documenting findings, and collaborating with physicians and clinical staff to support accurate diagnoses and treatment plans. The role also involves adhering to safety and infection control standards, participating in quality assurance activities, and contributing to a patient-centered environment through clear communication and professional conduct.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong knowledge of vascular imaging and related disciplines, including Vascular and Radiology.
• Candidates should hold relevant professional credentials, such as American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) and/or American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), as appropriate for the role.
• Candidates should demonstrate a solid foundation in clinical Medicine as it applies to vascular diagnostics and patient care.
• Graduate of an accredited diagnostic medical sonography or radiologic technology program, or equivalent training.
• Current state licensure or eligibility, and BLS certification (or ability to obtain within a specified time frame).
• Ability to perform and interpret a variety of non-invasive vascular studies, with attention to detail and image quality.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to explain procedures, respond to patient needs, and work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
• Proficiency in using ultrasound equipment and related software, with commitment to continuous learning and adherence to best practices.
