Description

Under the general supervision of the Nursing Manager, this role performs basic and complex vascular ultrasound procedures as defined in policies and procedures. Organizes and prioritizes work in accordance with department needs and completes assignments within assigned times. Quality of work and work schedules are supervised by Manager.

Required qualifications:

  • National Registered Vascular Technologist upon hire or National Registered Vascular Specialist - Cardiovascular Credentialing International upon hire or National Registered Technologist - Vascular Sonography upon hire or National Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer upon hire or National Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer upon hire or National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.

  • 3 years of Acute care experience in Vascular Diagnostic patient setting.

  • Experience with Allscripts & Sonosoft Reporting Systems.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • Experience with IAC accreditation submission.
