Job summary

Summit Health Management seeks a qualified Vascular Lab Technologist to prepare the laboratory and equipment for vascular procedures, document findings and assist physicians in interpreting patient data. You will educate patients on procedures and help ensure accurate records and charges are captured.

The role requires 2–4 years of vascular ultrasound experience, RVT certification, and BLS. Proficiency with EHR and practice management systems is preferred; strong English communication is

Qualifications

• 2–4 years experience in vascular ultrasound required.
• Diploma from a vocational/technical school required.
• RVT certification and BLS required.
• Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
• Experience with EHR and practice management systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the Vascular Laboratory and equipment for procedures.
• Compile test results to physician.
• Prepare patient for vascular study and monitor during procedure.
• Document observations and report to physician.
• Maintain patient records and documentation; assist in patient charges.
• Educate patient on procedures.
• Restock and prepare room for next day’s procedures with team.
