Adventist HealthCare is seeking a Registered Vascular Technologist for our Fort Washington, MD location. The role involves performing vascular sonography, documenting findings for radiologists, and supporting emergent care as needed.

The position is variable part-time with day shifts (8–16 hours per week). Expect $37.17–$55.76 hourly pay, with BLS certification required and RVT certification either held or obtained within 2 years of start date.

Qualifications

• High school or GED.
• Graduated from Accredited Diagnostic Medical sonography program.
• RVT required, or must be obtained within 2 years of start date.
• RDMS preferred.
• Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required

Responsibilities

• Perform clinical assessments and produce high quality vascular sonographic images to provide accurate data for Interventional Radiologists and Radiologists.
• Perform other non-invasive vascular tests including portable studies as necessary.
• Use Cerner, Viewpoint, McKesson PACS and Hconnect correctly to document patient information.
• Coordinate with other staff to assure appropriate patient care is provided.
• Demonstrate cost effectiveness in the use of supplies and equipment.
